From the Co-Presidents
In this week of gratitude, we want to thank you all - members of our PTO - for your commitment to working together to enhance our school community. We are grateful for the countless volunteer hours, generous donations and words of encouragement we so often receive from you. We wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Warmly,
Caitlin and Susan
Ward Annual Fund
We are happy to report that the Annual Fund Drive is off to a strong start! As an exciting new bonus, any families who donate before the end of 2021 will receive a Ward car magnet!
As a reminder, the Ward School PTO generally spends in the range of $200-$250 per student per year. Our projected expenditures for the 2021-2022 year are approximately $60,000. On our website are descriptions of the categories of spending. (https://www.wardpto.org/what-the-pto-supports).
There are two ways to donate:
Online at our PayPal page (https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=W3QC82Y3M9S8G)
By Check: Made out to “Ward PTO” and sent in an envelope to school clearly labeled “Kristin Golden, Treasurer - Ward PTO”
THANK YOU for your ongoing support!
Teacher and Staff Holiday Giving Coordinator
‘Tis almost the season! The PTO is seeking a volunteer or two to assist with coordinating holiday gift giving to all staff members in accordance with the NPS gift-giving policy. This person would work with the room parent coordinator and the co-presidents and be responsible for dividing funds, purchasing gifts, packaging/labeling gifts and delivering gifts to Ward. Interested or want to learn more? Email copresidents@wardpto.org.
Ward Cares
Are you ready for winter? If your child(ren) is in need of any winter gear (jacket, snow pants, hats, gloves) and it is hard for you to acquire right now, Ward Cares may be able to help. Email the information on what you need and in what sizes to Keren at keren.wainger@gmail.com
Lost and Found
Missing a jacket? Water bottle? Hat? Anything else? Please check out the lost and found section of our web site (https://www.wardpto.org/lost-found) and claim items before a December donation.
