From the President
Hello Ward Families,
We trust you had a safe and enjoyable experience observing the eclipse this past Monday! We're thrilled to introduce Elizabeth Loehr and Elizabeth Weinberg as the new Ward PTO Co-Presidents for 2024-26. Their willingness to take on this vital leadership role demonstrates their dedication to our community, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to them. As we approach April break, we encourage everyone to take some well-deserved time to unwind. We eagerly anticipate seeing you all at the upcoming Mystery Dinner & Newton Serves events.

Spring Mystery Dinner - 5/4/24
The Mystery Dinner is fast approaching! This is an adults only event and the most fun you’ll ever have as an elementary school parent/caregiver! Please sign up here for your meal preference and donations. This event is made possible by the generosity of our hosts and is a wonderful way to meet and get to know our Ward community. Questions? Emily Derr (emilyjderr@gmail.com) or Betsy Blazar (betsyblazar@gmail.com)
Newton Serves - 5/5/24
NewtonServes! is an annual citywide event that focuses on building community through the clean up and “greening” of public spaces. Ward Elementary is signed up for this amazing event and we are looking for volunteers to help with projects such as clearing debris and spreading mulch, trimming branches, tidying flower beds and adding new plantings. Please sign up here.
For more information about NewtonServes, please look here. Any questions, please reach out to us at copresidents@wardpto.org
Ward International Night - 5/16/24
Join us for an exciting adventure without leaving Ward School! Discover diverse cultures, tantalize your taste buds with international flavors, and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of our global community.
Tables representing different countries will be set up in the outdoor tennis court, offering insights into their unique traditions and customs. From savory delights to intriguing giveaways, each stop promises a new experience! Children will be issued paper passports to collect stamps as they journey through each country, earning delightful prizes along the way.
Would you like to showcase your culture by hosting a table? Sign up here to represent a country and share its wonders with our community!
Do you have a special talent to share, such as a dance or a song? Reach out to Lauren, Roopali, or Heba to discuss your performance. We look forward to sharing this unforgettable experience with you. *In case of inclement weather, the event will be relocated to the Ward School Gym.
